“ Grilled chicken sandwich was good. Fried catfish and hush puppies cooked to perfection. Friendly/engaging staff. We would eat here again. ”
“ We read the reviews and decided to give it a try. Its Friday so we had to have the catfish. We also tried the onion rings. They were served hot and crispy. Yum!! The catfish has a nice light cornmeal coating. My favorite! The place is clean, small and perfect for a quiet Friday night dinner. ”

“ There's a giant banner outside of this place that claims the best chicken fried steak in Texas. To make that statement in a small place like Brady is one thing, but it's mighty bold to say the best in the whole state. Well, they definitely have the food to back it! The chicken fried steak was legit! Dare your granny to make one better. The only reason this joint fell short was because they didn't advertise the best pecan pie in the state too!! That little slab of pie will send you to the moon and back for seconds! If you aren't into small hometown atmosphere skip it. (Your loss!!) If you're passing through, stop and give this place a try. Don't worry about saving room for dessert while you're there. Take a piece of pie (or two) for the road. ”
